The inagural Shannon AC Road Race will take place at 10am on Sunday 1st March. The flat, scenic 5 mile (8 km) route heads out from Shannon AC grounds on an out and back course alongside the Shannon Estuary towards the water treatment plant, returning along a short stretch of the river walk path before finishing up with a lap of the Shannon AC perimeter path.
